Well, they're pretty silly excuses that come out of this same specious narrative. Women have always died in wars, whether they were in actual combat positions or not. Nurses died, ambulance drivers died, pilots who flew supply planes died - to say nothing of the thousands and thousands of years before the modern age where female warriors were fairly common.
