Well, this OP doesn't say that and I've never actually seen a story written by a woman on Medium that says they prioritize those things. Everything I see written by women on Medium talks about how stupid this trope is and how what they really want is a man who will be himself and treat her like a real person. I even wrote an article about it because I heard it so often.

Yes, confidence is always a good thing and something that pretty much everyone finds attractive, but real confidence comes from knowing who you are and owning that, not from being fake suave, or cocky. It doesn’t come from buying into societal narratives about what is supposedly considered most desirable by women, because those are often pretty off base. Sure, tall, rich, and model handsome has its appeal, but that really isn’t the main thing that most women care about. Too many assholes fit into that category.

Overwhelmingly, women are looking for someone who has basic good grooming and manners, who is interesting and engaged with life, and who will treat them like a real person.

If you Google "What do women want in a man" you'll find all sorts of articles, which mostly have confidence as the number one trait and then other personality traits like integrity and kindness next. Physical aspects come much further down and of course, women want a man who is financially stable (because they don't want to have to support him) but only a very small percentage of superficial women really care if a guy is rich.

I'd really like to see some links for all of this supposed stories that you are reading because I've never seen even one. And the fact that you think that happy couples who you see everywhere have settled and are oppressed speaks volumes about your level of entitlement - which is the real issue in this scenario.
