Well, Yael and I are both using pen names. Hers just sounds more like a real name, but she's been pretty open about the fact that it isn't. You may be right about feeling that you know one writer better but in at least one of these cases - where the "friend" blocked me for saying the same things as Yael, he and I had spent more time off Medium talking than he had with her. IDK! 🤷‍♀️
