Women aren't a monolith and what they do and what they want as far as dating is also not universal. I know a ton of women who insist on paying their own way on dates because then the guy doesn't presume she "owes" him anything. Both things are true, because not all women are exactly the same. Duh!

Also, acting like it's women who are the main barrier to having fewer expectations of traditional gender norms is just delusional. 🙄 Ever hear of the "manosphere" or the rampant sexual harassment that women face when they try to go into "male coded" occupations? Sure, some women uphold patriarchy too, but pretending that it's women wanting to maintain this kind of social system that is the main reason it sticks around is enough to make me laugh out loud, it's so absurd because it's so out of touch with reality.
