What a weird concept that has no basis in human biology or sociology. It sounds like something out of Evangelical dogma.

Thanks for writing this. Sex is a highly social act that in my experience fosters connection and human attachment, even if you have no desire to pair bond with that person. And it certainly doesn't impair your ability to connect deeply and commit to one or more people.
