What does this mean? I don't get it.

There's always more to any problem than can be thoroughly discussed in a short essay or comment, but the purpose of this essay was not to do a deep dive into the causes of modern loneliness. It had another, very clearly stated purpose. If I substantively quibbled with every single comment that didn’t align 100% with my beliefs, I’d have time to do nothing else.
