He's telling her to shut up and notice that men have pain too. He's saying that women are believed (even though, demonstrably, that overwhelmingly isn't true) and so she has no cause to complain. And you're piling on because in your world and his it is unacceptable for women to talk about the bad things that have happened to them for centuries unless we also talk about men. NOPE!
