What you've essentially said is that men need to be treated like insecure children and if you expect an actual partner, you're the problem. As someone who has been married for over 30 years, I don't think that's a good strategy. Mutual respect and kindness will always be extremely important but way, way too many men seem to be looking for a mother figure they can fuck. This is not healthy or reasonable. Be an adult person involved with another adult person. Anything else is pathological. Deal with your own insecurities and emotions instead of expecting someone else to manage them for you.
