What's really the funniest is that it seems entirely lost on you that 50 years ago the APA (and society at large) considered homosexuality to be a mental health problem and now not only is that no longer the case, but same sex marriage is legal - due almost exclusively to the loud and vociferous advocacy of the queer community.
