When I read this, I immediately thought this guy was trying to find a way to deal with some incident from his own life by generalizing it in such a way as to dis women at large in retribution - despite the patently obvious fact that some of the most successful world leaders are women, that there are women astronauts, women who run companies dedicated to blockchain innovation, and AI technology, etc., etc., etc.
Pretending like it's still 1950 and that these women don't exist (even though they were around in 1950 as well) is just a kind of wishful thinking and a hope that saying it will make it so in order to not have to be so threatened by a world of women that you can no longer control - a world where your insecurities can't be masked by marginalizing others as a distraction. Some dude(s) focused on maintaining a place in the dominance hierarchy at the expense of everything else is how we got into this situation in the first place.
