When Nat and I broke up (the first time, a long time ago) I was desperate to "replace" him, but I couldn't get any connection I made to follow through. I really think it was that I reeked of the intensity of desperation and sadness, so I totally get this story. I needed the time to heal on my own and then later we patched things back up again.
