When you're happy that something bad happened to one of your employees.... Geez! I do know that CEOs have a statistically much higher rate of sociopathic traits than the average American, but that's because in this crappy dominance hierarchy system, that weirdly reads as "leadership."

My husband finally retired early to get out of corporate America. Most of his bosses were terrible, and the last one nearly killed him with the stress. That guy would travel for weeks at a time 6 or 7 times a year (really working hard) but then have a cow if he came in at 8 and not everyone was there. They were supposed to make their own hours and be trusted to get their work done, but he just had to micromanage - when he bothered to come into the office. And even if a CEO really did work hard, they don't deserve 50 or 100 times what their employees make.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
