Whether it’s equal to males and females, it’s still about having something unpleasant done to you against your will. It’s about being penetrated when that isn’t what you want. That’s about sexual aggression and rape imagery.

Fucked and screwed are two such reminders. People who are getting penetrated against their will are women, or at least those who have less power, in the way that women do.

It doesn’t matter whether they are literally women; they are female in the manner of “Let’s go ladies — I want to see 20 more pushups!” coming from a drill sergeant. Both the military and most Western democracies are androcentric, so being a girl is a less desirable thing to be, and in many cases, an insult.

As a sex-positive person, I don’t equate fucking with being raped or having things done to me against my will. Fucking is fucking great and I don’t want it associated with coercion and aggression. That is the main point here. Agreed or not?
