Which is why we live in a rape culture - because this shit has been normalized to the point that it's "just the way things are" and "how the game is played." Neither of those things makes it right.

And thank you for noting that all forms of ignoring someone else's body autonomy and right to consent are equally harmful. The bad part about rape (unless it's violent) isn't that some guy touched you with intimate body parts, it's that he stripped you of the right to make choices about what happens to you and to your body. That's the part that is harmful. We all deserve body autonomy, as you said.
