While I agree that a subset may fit your description, I think painting with such a broad brush is a bit much. However, I do agree that we need to seriously improve our education system.
I've written extensively on the Trump phenomeon although he undoubtedly appeals to those who want the social hierarchy to be as it was in the 1950s, that's in part because no-one is offering them anything else that doesn't feel terrifying and demeaning to them. I'm certainly not excusing that faction and dismayed that there are so many he appeals to, but I don't think that demonizing people is the way to understand them, and if you don't understand them, you can't reach any of them.
