While I agree that there are largely no such thing as white hats and black hats, and that we don't necessarily need to stop enjoying the art of problematic artists, there's otherwise some pretty convoluted reasoning going on here as regards the Allen case. Investigations of sex crimes notoriously do not favor the victim, particularly when the accused is a rich and powerful man, so citing the fact that investigations did not result in any charges is hardly an indication of anything other than the system worked as usual.
Ronan Farrow believes his sister, and that is the most compelling evidence for me. Presumably, he knows her better than we do and has seen how her life was affected by this experience. And, we can speculate all we want and never know the truth.
