What’s going on here, Medium?

Dear Medium,

I don’t follow all that many people compared to the number that follow me because I want to improve my chances of seeing new stories from people whose writing I really enjoy. But even so, I’ve noticed for some time that my Medium home page is increasingly populated with tech stories from people I don’t follow talking about coding and other stuff that I have zero interest in and have never read even one story about.

But today, today really took the cake. Rather than seeing the latest work from people I routinely read and interact with, I got this. I don’t know what some of it even means:

  • How To Create A Chatbot With Python
  • UX fundamentals
  • 8+ Years Of Experience Isn’t The Definition of a Senior Software Engineer
  • Open-sourcing riskqvant
  • Front Series C Deck
  • A note to supporters of ACRONYM
  • Build A highly scalable dashboard that runs on Kubernetes
  • Anonymouse web scraping with Node.js
  • The Amazon Data Scientist Interview
  • Web scraping with Python made easy

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
