Why is there a feminist bent to noting that even when kids lose their dads or they never had one, they can still succeed in life. Is it part of your brand of Christianity to want children to suffer? Do you care more about the primacy of men than the wellbeing of children? Because that's sure what it looks like to me.
"In industrialized nations like the United States, close to half of all children whose parents divorce lose contact with their fathers shortly afterward. Within ten years, the proportion rises to two-thirds. For many reasons, not all of which have to do with male priorities, only 52 percent of divorced mothers receive full child support; for children born out of wedlock, the proportion receiving support falls to 32 percent."
Hrdy, Sarah Blaffer. Mothers and Others (p. 150).
Men are abandoning children left and right and refusing to support them, but it's out of line to note that in spite of this reprehensible behavior, that boys can still succeed? Honestly, I have no more time for this absurd drivel...
