Women hunted in pre-patriarchy as well. Women nurtured, but so did men. Even today, gatherers bring in the most daily calories for a foraging tribe and for the most part, people in foraging bands don't worry much about gender roles in favor of just being a contribution to the group. Pretending that patriarchal norms that only arose in the past few thousand years are timeless and evolutionary is just telling yourself a story.

The single biggest "natural" aspect of humanness is diversity. Individuals need to be allowed to be who they are without being boxed into artificial gender norms that tell them who they are allowed to be. On that we can agree, but that's where actual equity lies.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
