"Women who are tall or not overweight tend to have easier labors than women who are short or heavy, according to a Canadian study in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology."

I thought that everyone knew that it's easier for larger women to give birth than smaller ones, since a baby has to pass through the pelvis of the woman - ergo a larger pelvis makes for an easier passage.

"Humans today display relatively limited sexual dimorphism (≈15%), whereas some of the other hominoids (gorillas and orangutans) are highly dimorphic (>50%) "

Some women may prefer taller men, but men also prefer taller males, as evidence by the fact that the taller person (man) nearly always gets elected and taller applicants are more likely to be hired and to also earn more. That preference may well be a function of patriarchy, where a larger man is seen to be more powerful. Prior to the agricultural revolution (and the onset of patriarchal dominance hierarchies) there was no such thing as "a provider" because the entire tribe/community shared with each other as a key survival strategy. It probably mattered a whole lot less at that time who was tall.

A lot of men care about earning more than their partners, but most women don't care about this at all, particularly since so many of them how earn the same or more than their men.

"A 2020 survey by TD Ameritrade found that about half of married women earn the same amount or more than their husbands do, a huge shift from decades past."

The number of stay at home dads has doubled in the past few years so what do you base your assertion that most women don't want them to do that? Americans do tend to be fairly hung up on gender roles, but this is less so of younger generations.

I'm a bit disturbed at all the unsubstantiated assertions you've made here which at times are wildly off base. And besides, these sorts of broad generalizations don't really serve anyone. Are there some women who fit these stereotypes? Undoubtedly, but that doesn't mean that it is an across-the-board dynamic (as we have seen from the actual data).

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
