Wrong! Most women love men, but they are deeply disappointed in and angry about the way that they are pervasively treated by them in this culture. The ones who don't do the worst shit still turn a blind eye to it. 85% of American women start getting sexually harassed as children, often as young as 9 or 10 years old and nobody does anything to stop it. A lot of male bonding takes place around sexualizing and denigrating women. Women still have to fight to be seen as authority figures, have to walk a fine line between being likable and being tough that men don't, and are judged on their looks even when it's irrelevant to the job in a way that men aren't. We're sick of it, and we're sick of you guys not doing anything to help make it better - and then complaining that we're not nicer.

I have lots of good men in my life, but the way masculinity is constructed in this culture is harmful - to men and to everyone else and women are not going to stop talking about that. If you want to stop hearing it, help to improve the culture, for your own sake, but for women's too.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
