WTF are you even talking about? Your emotionality seems to be clouding your ability to reason. I haven't denied the pandemic, and how does that fit into this discussion? The science on sex is that 1 in 100 births are intersex, meaning that sex is not a binary, it's a continuum. On a very regular basis, someone who is neither all female nor all male is born. It would be unscientific to pretend that isn't so. That has nothing to do with ideology. It's the literal scientific truth and there are some instances where it makes sense to say "pregnant people" and the like because it is medically possible for trans men or nonbinary people to get pregnant. And sometimes it makes sense to talk about women as a sociological class of people with a culturally constructed experience - one that was constructed by patriarchy, I might add. Many, many other cultures acknowledge more than two genders (which is consistent with sex not being a binary) and have done so for centuries. You clinging to the patriarchal definition of "woman" is irrelevant to whether or not self-identifying as "team TERF" is an offensive thing to do - which was my premise. Try to stay on point here.
Of course there are differences between cis women and trans women. I haven't denied that. In fact, I specifically acknowledged that in my OP. Honestely, Nicole - you need to address things that I've actually said, not just whatever pops into your head that someone else with a tangentially similar position might believe. It's sloppy debate, typically employed by those who can't meaningfully challenge what's been said by addressing it directly. And for the 3rd time, Chappelle called himself a TERF. I simply commented upon that.
Transpatriarchy isn't a word. 🤦♀️ I'm a defender of science and of basic common decency towards fellow human beings. If you have an issue with that, that's your problem.
