WTF do you even remotely believe that? You don't even know the most basic things about what the problem consists of - not according to me - but according to mainstream experts in the field like the American Psychological Association who just issued new guidelines for working with men and boys based on 40 years of research (most of it done by men), and all sorts of other very mainstream research of various kinds - some of which I've already recommended you educate yourself about, including glaring evidence of your privilege.
YOU ARE A LARGE PART OF THE PROBLEM (and so are other men like you) because you aren't doing the things that are necessary to "try and solve this" - you are barking up the wrong tree and making things worse in the process.
You aren't doing "the work", you consistently victim blame and attack women (while claiming to be egalitarian), you don't take responsibility for yourself to actually learn how you could contribute to changing the culture, or to grapple with the realities of how you fit into that equation.
You are the one in an echo chamber. I'm a social scientist specializing in this subject matter who is constantly reading about, learning about, and updating my understanding of how our social system functions (and doesn't function very well). Pretending like there are "good guys" and "bad guys" and since you're not a bad guy, this all has nothing to do with you is a function of, you guessed it, not doing the work and shirking responsibility for the part you play in the larger culture. It's a defensive posture, but it's completely and totally off base to how the world actually works.
You can A) Block everyone who disagrees with you and continue to act like they are the problem or B) step up and do the goddammed work.
Start by reading this book: The Macho Paradox by Jackson Katz - or just keep complaining that inequality is all women's fault. Perhaps you'd like to say that racism is all Black folks fault while you're at it and demand that they stop talking about how white culture overtly and systemically harms them. 🙄
Good lord, I'm out ... it's like knocking my head against a brick wall.
