Yeah, that was a really fascinating book, and it gave me all the info I needed to refute that kind of stupid narrative authoritatively. The long and short of it is, ALL mammals are reluctant to kill or truly hurt each other, except in very rare and very specific instances. It goes for most other animals as well, but is definitely true of mammals.
