Yep, I excerpted a few of those in the other story about artists making the art they want to. Some of the critiques of The Beatles were pretty funny. As far as I can tell most of the white men who sneer at TS don't actual know anything about her music other than passing snippets of hits like Shake It Off. They just assume because she's an attractive young woman that she's a dumb bimbo shaking her ass for attention and that the music industry somehow created her success - rather than her success coming often in spite of the music industry - she's certainly challenged it in myriad ways. Plus, if the music industry had the formula for creating the type of explosive success she's had recently, they'd be applying it elsewhere.

One guy actually had the nerve to say "If she actually cared about the music, imagine what she could do." He also dinged her for not playing instruments (even though she plays 4). When I pointed that out to him as well as the fact that a huge number of music icons admire her and find her extremely talented, he simply hid my comment so nobody else could read it and declined to reply. I guess some guys are more interested in misogyny than they are in truth.... I went back and blocked him later. Haters gonna hate, but I'll just shake it off. 🙃
