YES!! Because women care about how you make them feel a whole lot more than what you look like. Some women care a lot about looks but for most, if you're clean, have a decent haircut, wear clothing that fits and works for your body type, and are interested in her as person you want to get to know, "handsomeness" is going to come way down the list. Just because men mostly only care about looks doesn't mean it's the same for women.

“The truth is that most women’s attraction to men operates a lot more holistically, meaning that a woman can feel attraction to a man if he is very appealing in some way, even if he is unappealing in another way. For example, a woman can actually feel attracted to an ugly, short, fat, bald man if he has other things going for him. In fact, women are so different from men in this regard that, sometimes, a woman can completely lose attraction for a guy she thinks is absolutely gorgeous if he makes just one wrong move. Believe it or not, hot guys get rejected, too.”
Look around you out and about in the world. 85% of couples, she's more physically attractive than he is. About 10% are equally attractive and 5% of the time the guy is better looking than the woman.
