Yes, I do - even though there are very particular sociological dynamics that come with mainstream masculinity in America (The Man Box), I still always note that every man adheres to those (or not) in highly individualized ways. I've also written entire stories about how patriarchy is not a synonym for men.
Feminism also has particular sociological dynamics that could appropriately be used in a generalized way. These include things like noting that all mainstream feminism believes in equality of the sexes. There's nothing in mainstream feminist doctrine that is anti-male, doesn't care about how patriarchy harms men, or anything remotely like that. In fact, most organizations go out of their way to say the exact opposite, so it's completely out of line to make a generalized statement that purports those things by leaving off any qualifiers.
Being precise with your language has a lot more impact than just lashing out does.
