I didn't figure out how to be a goddess until I was 50, but it was in doing all the things that you've said - learning to take up space and say no unapologetically, at the same time that I learned to say yes to pleasure and vitality unapologetically as well.

I am really good and caring to the people in my circle but I will never again be a "nice" woman. And you are so right that patriarchy knows all about goddesses and the need to stamp them out.
