Yes, it absolutely does matter because for hundreds if not thousands of years purported differences in male and female brains has been used to justify the marginalized position of women.

I will agree with you that all brains are different. This is my main beef with this piece - that it is purporting to be able to give relationship advice based on the fact that there are only two types of brains - male and female ones. This is bullshit and it deserves to be called out. The fact of the matter is, we don't yet know enough about the brain to be able to say that we can determine traits based on the biology of the person whose head it is in.
