Yes, it does quite clearly. I quoted from it using both the terms patriarchy and traditional masculinity as interchangeable. Go back and read my prior comment. I went back and highlighted it so you won’t miss it this time. And the link I gave you was to the summary. If you care to read then entire 27 page report, you’ll have to Google it. I’ve done enough of your research and holding your hand already.

The philosophy of Stoicism has almost nothing to do with the type of emotional suppression that passes for male stoicism in this culture. Overwhelmingly, men's self-destructive beliefs and behaviors do come out of patriarchal Man Box beliefs.

Of course the West was patriarchal before the Industrial Revolution. Patriarchal norms aren't static - they have some core elements, but also vary from culture to culture and era to era.

I frankly could care less if I convince you of anything. I'm a social scientist and this is my area of expertise. I know what I'm talking about. Believe it or don't believe it - it's entirely irrelevant to me. I’ve had enough Dunning -Kruger for now, thanks.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
