Yes, you are quite correct, treating others with basic human dignity is my ideology. And no, in a government or institutional setting, you do not have the right to call me whatever you want. Free speech is not an absolute thing and already has a lot of legal exceptions to it, both in the US and Canada. Then there’s that pesky business of participating in a civil society — princess! Your libertarian wild west ideas may sound like you are standing for individuality — but you aren’t only an individual; you are a part of a society — one that has rules and laws for helping it function well. Discriminatory speech is antithetical to that which is why it’s illegal in both the US and Canada.
