You are in the distinct minority - and not every woman looking for a relationship wants to "settle down" - because that frequently involved becoming the house elf for a man after working at her own job all day. As I already noted, most women who have been married aren't anxious to do it again, even if they want to have somebody in their lives. Lots of younger women are clueing into this. The trope that women want to get married and men want to play the field hasn't been true for decades - but it's even less true than ever today. Lots of men want to get married and have children (and many don’t) and lots of women want to maintain their independence and autonomy/options (and some don’t). Again, sweeping generalizations about gender are largely a bad idea because people are individuals.

Many women are leaving dating because there aren't ANY men they are attracted to. Too many assholes, takers, and entitled man-children. Doesn't matter if he's tall, and handsome if he's a complete asshat. And, I’ve had two friends meet great guys online in the past two years who are in long-term committed relationships with them. So again, no monoliths.
