You have to treat her like an individual in order for her (or him) to feel special. Everyone wants to feel unique in a romantic relationship, and your partner should be doing the same for you - but if you're just a generic "good guy" that doesn't speak to her need to be urgently desired and cared about by you. This is not rocket science.
