You know me, Maya Yonika, this is my kinda writing — talking about where sex and society meet, and particularly how the dominance posturing required in a patriarchal society harms everyone, including the men who never bothered to consider how they were shooting themselves in the foot with this behavior.

I particularly enjoyed reading about the theory of why women shame and suppress the sexuality of other women. I’d always just assumed it was internalized misogyny, but it makes sense that when you have little power, you want to be able to maximize whatever power you do have.
