You should be able to express those things, and be heard and cared about as well, but I've seen an awful lot of guys show up in the middle of someone else's story about oppression saying "what about me?" That isn't the time or the place. The problems of straight, white, hetero guys count too, but that doesn't mean that they get to decenter other people's stories, which is what is often being attempted. Maybe you aren't doing that, but an awful lot of other men are, as if theirs are the only real problems and that privilege doesn't exist because life is often tough for them too.
