People do not have an unfettered right to say whatever they want without consequences and businesses have the right to make whatever conduct rules that they wish (as long as they are within legal parameters). That's a part of how "free speech" works. A policeman can't arrest you for wearing a hat with a political slogan on it, but your boss probably has the right to fire you if they don't like it.

"Those who complain the loudest about “cancel culture” tend to be people who are used to saying whatever they want, due to societal power. They have found it uncomfortable to learn that these days there are often actual consequences to anti-social expressions of entitlement and privilege."
