You've got a good point. Are you looking for a one night stand or a fling - or are you looking for a partner? And, also when people say that women tend to care about looks less than men, it doesn't mean that guys who wear stained t-shirts that don't fit are acceptable to women. It just means that beyond the basics of hygiene and clothes that fit and work for you, it's mostly not the primary thing women care about in a long-term relationship.
