You've identified so well here what patriarchy did to female sexuality - how it saw something magnificient and powerful and at times even holy and then proceeded to rope and hog-tie it for it's own purposes.

Don't give up expressing yourself as you truly wish to. I still get some disturbing feedback but a whole lot less than I used to when I first started here. I think the clearer you are in your boundaries and your right to maintain them, the more the feedback will begin to reflect that.
